See the rhythm behind stress and recovery.
CortiLoop turns scattered wearable signals into an estimated picture of activation, recovery and your cortisol-related daily rhythm—then helps you learn which small actions fit you.
1. Measure the signals already available
After you choose to connect Apple Health or Health Connect, CortiLoop reads selected sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, activity and workout data. A short check-in can add context such as perceived stress, energy, mood or an unusual event.
Health access is read-only and requested just in time. Core health measurements are designed to be processed on your device rather than copied to a CortiLoop cloud account.
2. Build a usable personal baseline
One reading does not define your state—or your cortisol rhythm. CortiLoop first looks for enough comparable sleep, activation and recovery data to learn your recent range. While it is learning—or when data is stale or incomplete—the app says so and limits its conclusions.
3. Estimate rhythm and explain what changed
CortiLoop can describe an estimated cortisol-related rhythm across waking, daytime demand and evening recovery. It separates evidence into three groups: measured signals, details you reported and patterns the app inferred. Explanations include confidence and may show other plausible contributors rather than presenting one cause as certain.
Example: “Your evening recovery signals differ from your recent baseline. Shorter sleep and a later workout may be contributing.” This is an interpretation of related signals, not a diagnosis or cortisol measurement.
4. Choose one realistic action
Instead of a long wellness checklist, CortiLoop offers one to three low-risk options that fit the time and constraints you provide. These may include paced breathing, a brief walk, gentle stretching, rest or appropriately timed outdoor light.
5. Learn what supports your cortisol rhythm
Over time, action completion, feedback and later signals can help CortiLoop show when your body appears to activate and recover well, and which routines are associated with that pattern. The goal is an inspectable learning loop: you can see what the app believes, why it believes it, how confident it is and correct it.
What CortiLoop is not
- Not a cortisol meter, hormone reading or laboratory test.
- Not a promise to keep cortisol permanently low.
- Not a diagnosis, treatment or replacement for professional care.
- Not a generic population score that ignores your baseline.
